SIGN OUR PETITION TO PROTECT THE NEW PLANNED FREE SCHOOLS IN SOUTH DERBYSHIRE
The New Labour Government is threatening to axe 4 new proposed free schools across Derbyshire, 2 of which are planned for here in South Derbyshire.
These are:
Infinity Park Spencer Academy, Nr Sinfin
New House Farm CE Primary, Nr Mickleover
Conservative-run Derbyshire County Council has slammed the new Government over its recent threats to these new proposed educational institutions around the County, which had been agreed and awarded funding by the last Conservative Government.
Labour’s Education Secretary announced in October that nationally, 44 new free school applications approved and awarded by the last Conservative Government had been paused and were now under a review process to see whether they would be scrapped or allowed to continue.
