Neil Atkin, Daniel Corbin & Peter Watson are you local Aston Councillor candidates for 2023. As the sitting Councillors for Aston, they all have a wealth of experience of campaigning and delivering for the area.
Peter has served as an Aston Councillor since 200 and is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and have used my knowledge and experience gained from my career, business & working life for the benefit of the community of South Derbyshire in the building of a better environment.
Neil was first elected to South Derbyshire District Council in 2003 and has also served the area as County Councillor since 2017. Neil has a particular interest in supporting local groups to improve the community, for example, he has supported initiatives to boost employment particularly for young people. He also supports a number of Armed Forces Charities and is passionate about helping ex-servicemen and women gain employment.
Daniel became is the newest Councillor for Aston ward and brings a wealth of experience from his professional work with 15 years working in senior roles within the pharmaceutical industry. The last two and half of which were spent running his own recruitment business in the sector. He is also an avid football fan and coaches at Hilton Harriers FC for three age groups.
